Terms of Service

By accessing or using roadmere.com (the "Site"), operated by Roadmere ("Roadmere," "we," "us"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, please don't use the Site.

Roadmere is a road-trip planning site. We provide mapped routes, traveler-submitted stories, a trip planner, and a flight search tool that connects you with third-party booking partners. Roadmere itself does not sell flights, accommodations, or trips — we help you plan and route you to partners who do.

When using Roadmere, you agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose or in violation of these terms
• Submit false, misleading, or plagiarized route or story content
• Attempt to scrape, copy, or republish substantial parts of the Site without permission
• Interfere with the Site's normal operation, including through automated scripts, bots, or attempts to bypass security
• Upload harmful code or content that infringes someone else's rights

Roadmere's flight search and some trip links are powered by third-party affiliate partners (for example, services like Travelpayouts, Skyscanner, or Kayak). When you search for or book a flight, hotel, or trip through Roadmere:

• You're transacting directly with that third party, under its own terms and privacy policy
• Roadmere may earn a commission on qualifying bookings, at no extra cost to you
• We don't control, and aren't responsible for, pricing, availability, cancellation policies, or the quality of service provided by these partners
• Any payment, booking dispute, or customer service issue related to a booking should be directed to the partner, not Roadmere

If you submit a story, photo, or other content to Roadmere, you confirm it's your own work (or you have permission to share it), and you grant Roadmere a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide license to display, reproduce, and promote it on the Site and in related marketing. You retain ownership of your content. We may edit submissions for length, clarity, or house style, and may decline or remove any submission at our discretion.

The Site's design, text, graphics, logo, and route data (excluding user-submitted content and third-party materials) belong to Roadmere or its licensors. You may not copy, modify, or distribute this material without our prior written permission.

The Site links to third-party sites, including booking partners and sources referenced in traveler stories. We don't endorse and aren't responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of any third-party site.

The Site, including all routes, stories, and planning tools, is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Road conditions, points of interest, pricing, and availability shown on the Site may change and should be independently verified before you travel. We don't guarantee the Site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roadmere and its team won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site, your travel plans, or any transaction with a third-party partner, including but not limited to trip delays, booking issues, or road conditions encountered on a planned route.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site at any time, particularly if we believe you've violated these terms. You may stop using the Site at any time.
